Exploring in Ohio

Before Marc started school we decided to explore Ohio and spend time with each other before studying consumed our lives.

Our first stop was Mentor Beach. The lake water was not as clear as ocean water but at least Ohio has a beach. Ohio one and Utah zero (at least for this post).

After playing in the water and relaxing on the beach we took a walk to this light house. Unfortunately, the tide was high so we could not get closer to it. Good thing we have four years left here!

Our next stop Chagrin Falls. We heard about this place from our friends and decided to check it out. It was a quaint little town with a natural waterfall running right through the middle of it. This place reminded of Jackson Hole with all of its shops lined up on both sides of the road. As you can see by my hair it was VERY humid the day we went.

Our next stop was Fairport Harbor. Yes, another beach! What can we say we both love the warm weather and working on our tans that were lacking this summer. We were lucky enough to go with our sweet neighbors the Bludorns.

So far Ohio has exceeded my expectations. There are more things to do here than I originally thought. I am excited to keep exploring! After reading this post, I know you are all dying to take a trip to Ohio and do all of the fun things here. Lucky for you Marc and I have TWO extra bedrooms that would love some visitors.
